Abstract:

The local popular games, which are one of the elements of non-substantial cultural heritage and are based on the ancient history of human history, are an important phenomenon that both feeds the culture and feeds the culture. In addition, popular games are part of the non-specific cultural heritage, which is accepted by society and which is transferred from generation to generation, and are still being lived in many corners of Anadolu today. The Cotton Beldesi Games is also one of the elements of non-substantial cultural heritage found in the Fishesir province inventory and intended to be preserved. In this regard, the purpose of the research is to contribute to the awareness by attracting attention to the Fishing or Cotton Field Games and thus to the transfer to future generations. The views of people who play or teach the game in the transfer of popular games to future generations have been taken and the current situation has been sought to be reflected. Qualitative research patterns have been used for the situation study scheme, the conversation technique has been obtained detailed information about the Cotton Beldesi Games. The study found that the idea was shared that the game was sensitive to the transfer to future generations, that the games were continued and that they should be taken from the past and moved to the future. **This study was held in Muğla-Marmaris between 24-28 April 2019. It was created by the reorganization of the declaration presented verbally at the International Tourism and Cultural Heritage Congress.
