So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Nörobilim ve Eğitim kavramları son zamanlarda daha sık birlikte anılmaya başlanmıştır. Eğitim araştırmaları, öğrenme psikolojisi, ve bilişşel sinirbilim gibi alanlarla bağlantılıdır. Eğitim Nörobilim’in ve Nöro-Psikolojinin alt alanı olarak görülmektedir(Bruer,2016). Eğitim Literatüründe bu konu pek öne çıkmamakla birlikte, son zamanlarda pek çok makalede Nörobilim ve Eğitim ilişkisinin kurulmasından öte, bu konudaki ihtiyacın dile getirilmekte olduğu ve giderek yayıldığı görülmektedir. Bu birlikteliğin değerini artıracak çalışmaların sunacağı katkılar çokça tartışılmaktadır. Ancak; konu ile ilgili endişeler de dile getirilmektedir. Pozitif yaklaşımlar yanında, henüz hiç bir umut görmeyenler de bulunmaktadır. Tüm endişelere rağmen, bu birlikteliğe bakışın olumlu hale gediği görülmektedir. Nörobilim’in Eğitime uygulanması konusunda sınırlılıklar olsa da çalışmalar devam etmektedir. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada, Nöro-Eğitim adlı bu yeni alanın sınırlarını belirlemek, diğer alanlarla ilişkilerini ortaya koymak ve bu ortak alanlardaki çalışmaların yeni alana katkılarını araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla; Nörobilim ve Eğitim İlişkisi ortaya konmaya çalışılmakta, Nöro-Eğitim denilen yeni alanın oluşumu ve bu alan içinde farklı alanların birlikte çalışması gereği vurgulanmaktadır. Nörobilim’in Eğitim’e katkısı, sunduğu bulgular ve oluşan karmaşık durumlar incelenmektedir. Ulaşılmak istenen durum; Nörobilimin, henüz Eğitime beklenen ya da sanılan katkıyı verip vermediğini belirlemeye çalışmak, teorik çalışmaların Eğitim uygulamalarına yansıması durumlarının açığa kavuşturulmasına katkıda bulunmak ve Eğitim uygulamalarında bundan yararlanılıp yararlanılamayacağını ortaya koymaya çalışmaktır.

Abstract:

The concepts of neuroscience and education have been mentioned more frequently in recent times. Education research is linked to fields such as learning psychology, and cognitive neuroscience. Education is seen as a sub-space of Neuroscience and Neuroscience (Bruer, 2016). Although this issue is not very highlighted in educational literature, it seems that in many recent articles, in addition to the establishment of the relationship between Neuroscience and Education, the need for this issue is being expressed and increasingly spread. The contribution to the work that will increase the value of this association is a lot discussed. But the concerns about the matter are also expressed. In addition to positive approaches, there are those who do not see any hope yet. Despite all the concerns, it seems that the view of this unity becomes positive. Despite the limitations in the application of neuroscience to education, the studies continue. Therefore, this study aims to identify the boundaries of this new area called Neuro-Education, to reveal their relations with other areas and to investigate the contribution of studies in these common areas to the new area. For this purpose; the Neurology and Education Relationship is trying to be revealed, the formation of the new area called Neurology-Education is emphasized and the collaboration of different fields within this area. The contribution of neuroscience to education, the findings it provides and the complex situations that are formed are studied. The situation to be achieved is to try to determine whether neuroscience does not yet provide the expected or supposed contribution to education, to contribute to the disclosure of the circumstances in which theoretical studies reflect on the Education practices and to find out whether it can be exploited in the Education practices.

Neuroscience and Education terms are recently used frequently. Educational researches are related with Physcology of Learning and Cognitive Neurosci-ence. Education has been seen as the subfield of NeuroPhycology and Neu-roscience(Bruer,2016). Its not seen in the Education Literature, but Neurosci-ence and Education relationship and the need of it is being examined widely. It frquently argued that this relationship will bring much contribution. However, some concerns are being told about . There are some positive app-roaches but some are too far from that. Although there are many concerns yet, it can be said the approach is positive. There are some limitations but studies are going on. For that reason, in this study, its tried to define the frame of the new study field, the relationship with other sciences, and the contribution of it and of course the necessity of colloboration of these fiels. İts also triying to put forward the contribution of Neuroscience to Education, İts findings and the complex case about this new field. The formation of Neuro-Education, sciences related to this field, and the need of colloboration. At the end its be-ing tried to explain if Neuroscience can bring a real contribution to Education and how Education can put ıts findings into practice.
