Nikel krom kaplama süreçlerinin önemli maliyet parametrelerinden biri olan nikelin verimli kullanımı rekabet için zorunludur. Bu çalışmada, metal üzerine nikel-krom kaplama yapan bir üreticinin nikel banyolarının verimliliğini arttırmak amacıyla, proses parametreleri eniyilenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla, deney tasarımı ve eniyileme tekniklerinden biri olan yanıt yüzey yönteminden (YYY) yararlanılmıştır. Nikel banyolarında iş parçasının yüzeyine yapışan nikel oranı maksimize edilirken süreci etkileyen faktörler olarak, sıcaklık, nikel sülfat (NiSO4) oranı, nikel klorür (NiCl2) oranı, borik asit (H3BO3) oranı, pH ve parlatıcı oranı seçilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda, banyolardaki verimli kullanılan nikel oranı %80’den %95’e çıkarılmıştır.
The efficient use of nikel, which is one of the significant cost parameters of the nikel chromium coating processes, is mandatory for competition. In this study, process parameters were tried to be reduced in order to increase the efficiency of a manufacturer's nikel baths that made nikel-chrome cover on metal. For this purpose, the response surface method (YYY) was used, which is one of the experimental design and deformation techniques. In the nickel baths; while the nickel level attached to the surface of the workpiece is maximized; as factors affecting the process, the temperature, the nickel sulfate (NiSO4) level, the nickel chloride (NiCl2) level, the boric acid (H3BO3) level, the pH and the brilliant level are selected. At the end of the study, the efficient use of nicel in the bathrooms was increased from 80% to 95.
Efficient usage of nickel, one of the important cost parameters of nickel chrome plating processes, is compulsory for competing. In this study, it is aimed to optimize the process parameters of the nickel baths of a manufacturer that plates nickel-chromium on metal. For this purpose, response surface methodology (RSM), one of the experimental design and optimization techniques, has been used. In nickel baths; while the rate of nickel sticking to the surface of the workpiece is maximized; temperature, nickel sulfate (NiSO4) ratio, nickel chloride (NiCl2) ratio, boric acid (H3BO3) ratio, pH and polisher ratio were selected as factors affecting the process. At the end of the study, the efficiently used nickel ratio in the bathrooms was increased from 80% to 95%.
