The article shows that the epics of other peoples of the world do not contain as many different characters as in “Dada Gorgud”, and do not consist of lively dialogues, descriptions and colorful poetic images. Excitement and feelings are glorified by the magic of the word in each of the  Oguznam. Society interacts with nature, material beings interact with the spiritual world. Events reflect the life of different segments of the population. Many ethnic features have been elevated to the category of universal human values. Although order, consistency, unity and, in some cases, inconsistency in time and space can be seen from the perspective of one nation, they resemble the spirit of all people on earth, regardless of religion, creed, race, gender or nationality. The main motives are forced out of the initial assumptions, but connected with reality, even with the events of history, always seem clear. In other words, despite the abundance of mythological layers in the epic, they do not lose their reality.The author proves that oral tradition, which is one of the rare creative phenomena in the  treasury of world culture - Oguznam, in terms of language, style, poetic structure, ideas and content belongs only to the group of Turkic peoples. It is substantiated that it stands next to the largest literary monuments of the epic tradition, and in a number of signs even differs from them and is included in the list of specific moral values. According to the final results of the study, Oguzname is the name given to the epics of the oral epic tradition of the Oguz group of Turkic peoples in verse and prose, as well as to other samples of folklore of the early Middle Ages. As in the epic of each nation has its own characteristics, so in the epic of the Oguzes has its own characteristics. The main thing is that at the time when people lived, it was important to look into the past and draw conclusions, learn from historical events, and therefore the motives from the mythological layers were dressed in the guise of reality. When we say “Oguzname”, we must first of all remember that folklore and written literature are united at one point. Epic narratives, composed by a great people over a long period of time, are transmitted into written memory through the imagination of the owner of the pen. Mythological and historical stories, legends and narratives, rooted in the memory of tens of thousands of people for centuries, or rather, embodied in special poetic forms, complete the period of oral life and, thanks to the talent and creative capabilities of a person, have the opportunity to live forever.
