Abstract:

Bilateral abductor vokal cord paraysis is not a frequent clinical intity. The most common etiologic factor seen is the thyroid surgery. Many different kinds of surgical innervation have been tried for the treatment but so for no desired solution has been found. The existence of so many experienced and defined surgical methods is an indicator of the difficulty in reaching the desired goal, in this study, we present 15 cases of endolaryngeal arytenoidectomy for bilateral abductor paralysis, besides the growing technology and application of new methods, we wanted lo stress out the validity of Thornell. operation.
