Urban people, who become distant from nature day by day, change their places in line with their physical and psychological needs in order to create more livable urban environments and try to create environments where they can feel comfortable and safe. Creating healthy living environments is possible through spatial features and pursuant landscape design. Within the scope of this research, indoor plants, one of the important design elements, which have positive effects on the quality of life and comfort of interior spaces, were examined. In this context, some hospitals in the city center of Tekirdağ were examined, and the current state, diversity, and adequacy of the indoor plants in the area and the state of ecological adaptation were evaluated. It has been determined that there is not enough room for live plant material in the interior spaces of the hospitals, the conditions of which are suitable in terms of light and temperature, and that there are deficiencies in this regard. It is aimed to increase the physical and psychological healing effects of plants on humans and to increase interior quality by making use of the research results in design and applications.
