Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to carry out the content analysis of the theses and articles related to the alternative measurement assessment published in the YÖK National Thesis Center and in the JournalPark according to the determined standards and to determine how the studies have changed according to the years. The work is done on the basis of the content analysis. In the study, 27 theses and 18 articles selected with the method of sampling for the purpose were subjected to content analysis. The text and the thesis are based on the history of the structure (constructivist) approach in education. This is why the study was selected between 2008 and 2020. Each thesis and article included in the study’s scope is subject to content analysis using the “Tesis/Makale Coding Form”. The articles and the theses included in the study form also; the method and model/design of the study, the year in which the thesis was published, the data collection tools used, the research-focused subject area, the size of the sample and the type of sample. The obtained data is interpreted according to frequency values and presented in tables. The analysis of the data found that most of the studies were done in 2018. However, the study found that the most used method is quantum, and the least used method is quality research method. With the sample size and the type of sample in the studies, it is seen that the studies are concentrated in a sample range of up to 101-300 people and the most random sample method is used. When the studies are studied according to the subject areas; most of the studies are conducted in the subject area of the teacher/the teacher candidate opinions and the most used data collection tool is also the form of interview with the survey. The study is important because it is guided to future studies by determining the guidelines in the postgraduate thesis and articles.
