Objective: To determine the values of food consumption for cardiovascular risk, the prevalence of overweight and obesity, and the level of physical activity in adolescents from a state school in the city of Curitiba-PR. Methods: Cross-sectional study with quantitative data analysis, carried out with adolescents of elementary school, aged 11 to 15 years. Data were collected through the evaluation of BMI, physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ) and food-related cardiovascular risk. Results: We evaluated 24 adolescents with a mean age of 12.75 (± 1.70). Regarding BMI of adolescents, only 12.5% (n = 3) were overweight. The level of physical activity, 41.66% (n = 10) were classified as irregularly active and 20.83% (n = 5) as sedentary. Relating to food consumed linked to the risk of cardiovascular diseases, 75% (n = 18) provides excessive consumption of these foods. Conclusion: Therefore, programs to intensify actions to promote healthy eating habits and physical activity are key.
