Abstract:

It is also important to evaluate the incidents of sexual assault and sexual abuse along with physical and mental trauma in terms of sexually transmitted diseases (CYBH). In these cases, the examination is often limited to the detection of trauma findings and the sampling for the identification of the attacker. There are many factors that are sexually transmitted, such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis, Trichomonas vaginalis, Hepatitis B virus, Human immunodeficiency virus and syphilis, but in our country there is no standardized guide on screening tests and prevention practices for these factors. Therefore, the risk of infection in all cases should be taken into account and, if necessary, evaluation should be made in terms of treatment and prevention practices. In cases where the attacker can be reached, if the victim needs medical care for the CYBH should be determined, such persons must also be examined and inspected in order to establish the prosecution process and the license link of the attacker. In this collection, the assessment of the sexually transmitted diseases that may be seen in victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse and the examination of the attacker, accompanied by literary information, was aimed at attracting the attention of health workers on this subject by examining the legal and medical aspects.
