Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen görüşlerine bağlı olarak okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlere olan güven düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Ayrıca söz konusu genel amaç kapsamında öğretmen görüşlerine göre okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlere güven düzeylerinin öğretmenlerin demografik özelliklerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı da tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 öğretim yılı ile sınırlı olmak üzere Manisa ili Yunus Emre ilçesinde görevli 323 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanması için “Okul Müdürlerinin Öğretmenlere Güvenini Belirleme Ölçeği- Öğretmen Formu” kullanılmıştır. Veriler, araştırmanın amacına hizmet edecek biçimde t-testi ve ANOVA testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen analizler neticesinde; öğretmen görüşlerine bağlı olarak okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlere güvenlerinin yüksek düzey olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmada öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, okul müdürleri ile birlikte çalışma süreleri, görev yapılan okul kademesi değişkenlerine göre güven düzeyinin farklılaşma göstermezken mesleki kıdem değişkenine bağlı olarak anlamlı sayılabilecek düzeyde farklılaşma olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlara bağlı olarak ise araştırmacı ve uygulayıcılara öneriler sunulmuştur.
The purpose of this research is to examine the levels of trust of school principals to teachers, depending on teacher opinions. In addition, according to teacher opinions within the scope of the general purpose in question, it has been tried to determine whether the confidence levels of school principals to teachers differ according to the demographic characteristics of teachers. The study group of the research consists of 323 teachers working in Yunus Emre district of Manisa province, which is limited to 2022-2023 academic year. For the collection of research data, “the scale for determining the confidence of School Principals in teachers – Teacher form” was used. The data were analyzed with t-test and ANOVA tests to serve the purpose of the research. As a result of the analyses carried out; it was concluded that the school principals’ trust in teachers is high level depending on the teacher’s opinions. In addition, in the research, it was concluded that while the gender of the teachers, working time with the school principals, the level of trust according to the school level variables that were assigned did not show any difference, there was a level of differentiation that could be considered meaningful depending on the vocational seniority variable. Depending on the results reached, recommendations were presented to researchers and practitioners.
