Purpose: The aim of our study is to determine pediatric areas of work and qualifications of occupational therapists. Materials and Method: Pediatric Occupational Therapists help children develop skills in the areas of self-care. They work on developing confidence, self esteem, social skills and general well being. They support children and enable them to achieve their maximum potential. The pediatric occupational therapist criteria described by WFOT and the qualifications that are determined by the English OccupationTherapist Association and the American Occupation Therapist Association were examined and minimum standards were determined. Results: They work in a lot of areas such as Dyspraxia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Auditory Processing Difficulties, Sensory Integration Disorder, Developmental Delay, Learning difficulties, Attention Deficit, Visual Perception Deficit, Physical Impairment, Handwriting development, in giving advice for adaptation of the children at school and at home, etc. In order to work in these fields, it is required to be a graduate of a 4-year occupational therapy school, to have a WFOT pass from approved programs, to be experienced in sensory integration and having a certificate, ability to listen attentively, strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, compassion, patience and excellent writing skills. conclusion: In our country, to improve the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy and to enhance the quality of service, it is recommended that the Occupational Therapists, who are going to work in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy, have the specified minimum standards
