This study was carried out to predict the levels of domestic violence coping self-efficacy by the ways of coping (self confident approach, optimistic approach, helpless approach, subserviant approach, social support seeking approach) and the level of post traumatic stress disorder symptoms (PTSD) in women who were victimized by domestic violence. The sample research consists of 328 women who applied to various organizations due to being prone to domestic violence. Domestic Violence Coping Self-Efficacy Scale, Ways of Coping Inventory, Impact of Events Scale and Personal Information Form were used as data collection instruments in this study. In order to predict the levels of the domestic violence coping self efficacy by subscales of the ways of coping and PTSD level, sample group’s scores were put through the Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. When the findings of the research are examined; The significant predictors of domestic violence coping self efficacy are respectively; self-confident approach, PTSD level and optimistic approach. However, helpless approach, sub-serviant approach and social support approach variables are not significant predictors of domestic violence coping self efficacy for women who exposed to domestic violence.
