Abstract:

Class teachers often meet with students who need special education in the framework of coaching education. At this point, it is an important requirement that classmates have sufficient knowledge and skills about special education. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the opinions and recommendations of classmates on the training they receive in the field of special education in the pre-service and service. As the teachers have given their opinions on a certain experience, the method of the study of phenomenology (fenomenology) is used within the framework of qualitative research approaches. The data was collected and analyzed using semi-configured interview technique. Research results show that teachers consider increasing training in the field of private education as a priority. Furthermore, the result was achieved that the training related to special training for classmates should be theoretical and practical. In addition to this, it is another result of the research that teachers need to be motivated to participate in courses. In the framework of the research, we have also found the recommendations to develop the relationships of teachers with institutions such as the university, to include families in these educations, to follow the innovations, to organize these educations in continuous and sufficient periods of time. Finally, this study indicates that according to the responses given by the participating teachers, the content of these training is organized and the cultural structure of Turkey should also be taken into account.
