Abstract:

This study aims to adapt the scale of the substantial well-being in the school developed for primary school students to the Turkish. The study was attended by 280 students from the range of 4 to 8 classes of primary education, ranging from 10-15 years of age. In the translation process of the measurement, the adaptation process steps are followed. The structure validity was studied using verifying Factor Analysis (DFA) to verify whether the three sub-scale found in the scale are similar to students in Turkey. The school has been studied with the scale of the child’s scale. The DFA analysis has found that the model has good conformity index values; the measurement validity analysis has also shown meaningful relationships with the same scale. In the reliability studies, Cronbach alpha internal consistency ratio calculations have shown that the dimensions in the lower scales and the lower scales are sufficiently reliable. Furthermore, the total correlations of each substance and 27% sub-top group comparisons were made and they had a high level of correlation, the t values were found to be meaningful in group comparisons. The result of this study can be said that the subject goodness scale in the school can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool for primary school students to determine the subject goodness in the school.
