Bu araştırmanın amacı; Gençlik Spor Genel Müdürlüğü merkez teşkilatında görev alan yöneticilerin insan kaynakları yönetimine bağlı iş analizi üzerine görüşlerinin alınması ve teşkilat içerisinde iş analizi uygulamalarına verilen önemin tespit edilmesidir. Bu amaçla, ilgili literatür taranarak araştırma problemi hakkında gerekli bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca bir anket uygulanmış ve bu anket yoluyla elde edilen verilerle araştırmanın problemine çözüm aranmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni; Gençlik Spor Genel Müdürlüğü’nde görev yapan Genel Müdür Yardımcıları, Daire Başkanları, Spor Federasyonlarının Genel Sekreterleri ve Genel Müdürlük Şube Müdürleri düzeyindeki yönetici personelden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin çözümlemesinde tek yönlü varyans analizi yapılmış; frekans yüzde ve aritmetik ortalama değerleri kullanılmıştır. Yönetici personelin, % 88.1’inin erkek, % 58.3’ünün 41-50 yaş, % 64.3’ünün bir fakülte mezunu olduğu ve de % 42.9’unun 9 yıl ve üzeri süredir şu anki görevinde bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca “kurumumuzda iş tanımları ve iş analizleri personel seçiminde etkili oluyor” ifadesine % 53.6’sının kısmen, “kurumumuza uygun eleman seçimi yapılmaktadır” ifadesine % 56.0’lık bir oranla kısmen katıldıkları tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak Gençlik Spor Genel Müdürlüğü merkez teşkilatı yöneticilerinin iş analizi ve uygulamaları konusundaki görüşleri değerlendirildiğinde, yöneticilerin insan kaynakları yönetimine bağlı iş analizi ve uygulamalarına gerekli önemi yeterince vermedikleri tespit edilmiştir
