Savaş veya terör amaçlı ya da ihmal sonucu gerçekleşen insan kaynaklı toksikolojik afetler canlı varlıklar açısından bireysel kayıplar yanında büyüklükleriyle orantılı olarak kitlesel veya çevresel kayıplara neden olmaktadır. Toksikolojik afetler ve teknolojik gelişmelere paralel olarak ortaya çıkan multi-toksikolojik afetler ölümler yanında ekonomik kayıplara, sosyal ve psikolojik yıkımlara neden olmaktadır. Son yıllarda etken maddesi tespit edilemeyen kimyasal maddelerin kullanıldığı ve etken maddesi bilinen bir takım toksik maddelerin ise farklı işlemlerle daha farklı bir kimyasal maddeye dönüştürülerek toksik etkisinin arttırıldığı veya daha uzun bir süre sonra etkisini gösterecek bir maddeye dönüştürüldüğü belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada toksikolojik afetler tüm yönleriyle ele alarak değerlendirilmiştir.
Human-made toxicological disasters that occur as a result of war or terrorism or negligence cause mass or environmental losses in proportion to their size as well as individual losses in terms of living beings. Toxicological disasters and multi-toxicological disasters that occur in parallel with technological developments cause economic losses, social and psychological destruction as well as deaths. In recent years, it has been determined that chemical substances whose active substance cannot be determined have been used and some toxic substances whose active substance is known are transformed into a different chemical substance with different processes, increasing their toxic effect or turning them into a substance that will show its effect after a longer period of time. In this study, toxicological disasters were evaluated in all aspects.
