Özet:

XVII century for the Ottoman Empire is a characteristic crisis period. One of the characteristic features of the period is the movement of preachers who have religious, social and political implications, which paves the way for shaping the movements of ideas that willemerge in the following centuries. The movement is made up of opposition claims to the Sects. This dispute, which confronts the two institutions, the dervish lodge and the madrasa, which are based on the Ottoman intelllectual mentality, has, of course, become a matter of choice in people's minds. The aim of this study is to examine there levant discussion, to introduce the division that it has created in the society and in the palace and to interpret Evliya Çelebi as an example of Ottoman in this division. Although researches about the literature. Show that Evliya Çelebi is trying not to be a party, an anecdote that about the criticism of someone who claim membering to Kadızade by Evliya Çelebi when he living Bitlis between 1655-1656, reflects his views. In addition, our researches gave us the opportunity to evaluate the identity of the Ottoman intellectuals of Evliya Çelebi and to interpret the side of this struggle by analyzing his mentality.
