Amaç: Çalışma, hekim ve hemşirelerin tıbbi hatalarda tutumlarını belirlemek üzere "Tıbbi Hatalarda Tutum Ölçeği"nin geliştirilmesi amacıyla metodolojik olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Çalışma bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde yapılmış olup, araştırmanın örneklemine 80 hekim ve 207 hemşire alınmıştır N=287 . Araştırmanın verileri sosyo-demografik özellikler formu ve “Tıbbi Hatalarda Tutum Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler, sayı, yüzde, korelasyon analizi, faktör analizi, Cronbach alfa katsayısı ve bağımlı gruplarda t testi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmacılar tarafından 20 maddelik ölçek havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Kapsam geçerliği kapsamında uzman görüşü alınmıştır. Madde toplam puan korelasyon katsayıları 0,31-0,54 arasında değişmektedir ve 0,25 altındaki üç madde ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda üç faktörlü ölçek yapısı doğrulanmıştır. Uyum iyiliği istatistiklerinde, uyum değerleri yeterli düzeyde belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 0,75’tir. Araştırmada test-tekrar test güvenirlik katsayısı 0,91 olup, iki ölçüm puanları arasında pozitif yönde, güçlü ve istatistiksel olarak ileri düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: “Tıbbi Hatalarda Tutum Ölçeği”nin geçerlik ve güvenirliği yüksek, hekim ve hemşirelerin tıbbi hatalarda tutumlarını belirlemede yeterli bir ölçme aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir
Objective: The study was methodologically conducted to determine the attitudes of doctors and nurses towards medical errors and improve the “Scale of Attitudes towards Medical Errors”. Method: The study was carried out in a training and research hospital and included 80 doctors and 207 nurses N=287 . The study data were collected through a socio-demographic characteristics form and the “Scale of Attitudes towards Medical Errors”. The collected data were analyzed using number, percentage, correlation analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, and t-test for dependent groups. Results: The researchers created a 20-item scale repository. Expert opinion was asked for content validity. The total item correlation coefficients ranged between 0.31-0.54 and three items with coefficient under 0.25 were excluded from the scale. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis, three-factor scale was confirmed. In the statistics on goodness of fit, goodness indices were found adequate. Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.75. In the study, the test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.91, and there was a positive, strong, and statistically very significant correlation between the scores of two measurements. Conclusion: It was determined that the “Scale of Attitudes towards Medical Errors” had high validity and reliability and it was an adequate measurement tool for determining the attitudes of doctors and nurses towards medical errors
