Ebu’l-Abbas Muhammed b. Yezîd el-Müberred, H. 3. yy.’da yaşamış meşhur ve önemli bir Arap dilcisidir. Basra’da hayata gözlerini açan Müberred, ilk eğitimini orada almış ardından kısa süreli bir Sâmerrâ dönemini saymazsak hayatının çoğunu Bağdat’ta ilim meclislerinde geçirmiştir. Basralı birçok dilcide öğrenim görmüş ve Basra nahiv ekolünün son dönemki en önemli temsilcisi olmuştur. Bağdat’ta Kûfe ekolü dilcisi Sa‘leb’le tatlı bir rekabet yaşayan Müberred kısa sürede çok sayıda talebeye sahip olarak ilim halkasını genişletmiştir. Eserleri arasında en bilinenleri Arap dili grameri alanındaki el-Muktedab ile Arap edebiyatına dair telif ettiği el-Kâmil’dir. Makalemizde el-Muktedab’ta sarf ve nahiv dışından yer verdiğini diğer ilim dallarına dair bilgileri ele alacağız. Eserde tesbit ettiğimiz kadarıyla ilmu’l-luga, Arap lehçeleri, ‘arûz, tefsir, ensâb, savtiyye, kıraat ve belâgat’a dair kısa bilgiler verilmiştir.

Muberred, who opened his eyes to life in Basra, took his first education there and then, without counting a short Samurai period, spent most of his life in the scientist councils in Baghdad. Basraly has studied many languages and has become the most important representative of the last period of the Basra nahiv ekol. In Baghdad, the Muberred, who lived with a sweet competition with the Kûfe ecoloic speaker Sa'leb, shortly expanded his wing of knowledge with a lot of demands. The most famous among his works is the Arabic grammar al-Muktedab and the Arabic literature al-Kamil. In our article we will discuss the information about the other disciplines of science that are located outside the sarf and nahiv in al-Muktedab.
