Abstract:

The poetry collection is recorded with the number of 06 Mil Yz C 20 in The National Library. It consists Persian, Turkish and Arabic poems according to the subject headings given in alphabetical order, organized by the Müderriszade Sadullah Izzet from Ankara, a descendant of Hacı Bayram-ı Veli, in the middle of the 19th century. Müderriszade Sadullah Izzet, who is also a poet, has included examples of both his own and his grandfather Mustafa Şeyhi’s poems in the poetry collection, which contains mostly the couplets of 17th and 18th century Turkish and Persian poets under approximately 660 subjects. After this section, it also includes Persian-Turkish couplets containing "difficult and hidden subtle" and a section in which only examples from Hezej metres are given. In the introduction part of the article, the thematic poetry collections are briefly mentioned. Then compiler of the poetry collection, Sadullah Izzet, will be introduced. Presenting the physical description and content of the poetry collection, the poets of this collection will be mentioned. In addition, the poems of Sadullah Izzet and his grandfather Mustafa Şeyhi in this collection will be emphasized and the poetry collection evaluated.
