Abstract:

This study was carried out in 2012 in clear conditions in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.), which was grown as the second product after grain harvest, with the aim of determining the effects of different October times on cotton’s some early and agronomic characteristics. The study used 10 potato varieties/hats (Uzbek 100, Uzbek 105, Cosmos, ST373, Flash, Flora, Gloria, Julia, Famosa varieties and ADU Early Line) as material. The trial to be carried out on October, June 1 and June 15 was established in three rounds according to the trial pattern of two-factor random blocks. In the study, the date of the first scraping, the date of the first flowering, the date of the first cottage opening, the rate of premature (first hand mass ratio), the length of the plant, the number of wood and fruit branches and the mass cotton production were studied. With the delay of October, the length of the plant, the branch of wood, the number of branches of fruit and the massive cotton production have been significantly reduced; the scratching is earlier, and the flowering is significantly delayed. Although there is no significant difference between varieties in terms of efficiency, the best performance has been shown by the ADU Early Line with the Cosmos, ST373, Gloria and Famosa varieties.
