İzmir İli Arıcısının Arı Hastalık ve Zararlılarına Bakışı

Abstract:

Amaç: Bu anket çalışmasında; Ege Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü Arıcılık Şubesi’ni ziyaret eden İzmir İli arıcılarının arı hastalık ve zararlılarını arıcı gözüyle değerlendirme ve mücadele yöntemlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Anket çalışmaları 2017 yılında, İzmir İli’ndeki 94 arıcı ile yüz yüze yapılmıştır. Anket sorularında arıcıların, koloni sayısı, hastalık ve zararlılarla ilgili eğitim alıp almadıkları, karşılaştıkları arı hastalıkları ve arı zararlılarının neler olduğu, hangi ilaçlama yöntemlerini seçtikleri, arı ürünlerinde kalıntı problemlerini nasıl aşılacağı gibi birçok konuda görüşleri alınmıştır. Sonuçlar yüzde olarak belirtilmiş, cevaplar arası ilişkiler ki-kare testi ile ortaya konulmuştur. Bulgular: Çalışma bulgularına göre; Enstitüyü ziyaret eden İzmir arıcısının %77.7’sinin arıcılığı ek iş olarak yaptığı, %38’inin ilkokul mezunu, %62.8’inin 51 yaş ve üzeri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Arıcıların %42.6’sının 0-50 kovana sahip olduğu, %74.5’inin gezginci arıcılık yaptığı belirlenmiştir. Arıcıların kolonilerinde en sık karşılaştığı sorunun varroa zararlısı olduğu, %47.9’unun kimyasal mücadele yöntemi kullanarak varroaya karşı mücadele ettiği saptanmıştır. Kimyasal mücadelede en çok kullanılan etken madde amitraz olurken, organik mücadelede en çok formik ve oksalik asit kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Arıcıların arı hastalık ve zararlılarından karşılaştıkları en önemli sorunun varroa olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Arıcılar, arı ürünlerinde ilaç kalıntısı sorununun %43.5’inin organik ilaçlarla, %29.0’unun eğitimle ve %17.7’sinin ilaçların doğru kullanımı ile çözülebileceğini bildirmişlerdir.

Purpose: In this survey, the aim is to determine the methods of evaluation and fighting of bees diseases and harmful diseases of the Izmir Islands who visit the Egean Agricultural Research Institute’s Archaeological Branch. Material and Method: The survey work was carried out in 2017 with 94 firefighters in Izmir. In the survey questions, researchers have taken opinions on many topics, such as the number of colonies, whether they are trained about diseases and hazards, what bees diseases and hazards they encounter, what methods of treatment they choose, how to vaccinate the problems of residues in bees products. The results are indicated as a percentage, the relationship between the answers is shown by the ki-core test. Results: According to the study findings; 77.7 percent of the İzmir reef who visited the Institute did the reef as an additional job, 38 percent were primary school graduates, 62.8 percent were 51 years old and older. It is estimated that 42.6 percent of rivers have 0-50 coats, and 74.5 percent are traveling rivers. The most common problem in their colonies is varroa harmful, with 47.9% fighting varroa using chemical combat methods. The most commonly used in chemical fighting ingredient is amitraz, while the most commonly used in organic fighting is formic and oxalic acid. The conclusion: The most important problem that beekeepers face from the disease and harmful bees is varroa. The beekeepers account for 43% of the problem with the drug remains in bee products. 5 of them said they could be solved by organic medications, 29.0 percent by training and 17.7 percent by proper use of medications.

Objectives: In this survey study; it is aimed to determine perspective of Izmir province beekeepers visited the Department of Apiculture of Aegean Agricultural Research Institute on bee diseases and their control methods. Material and Method: Survey studies were conducted face to face with 94 beekeepers in İzmir province in 2017. In the questionnaire, the opinions of the beekeepers were taken in many subjects such as number of colonies, whether they have been educated about diseases and pests, bee diseases and bee harmful that they encounter, medication methods that they choose, and how to overcome residual problems in bee products. The results are given in percentages on the tables, and the relationships among answers are shown by chi-square test. Results: According to study findings; While 77.7% of İzmir beekeepers visited Institute make beekeeping as an extra job, 38% of them are primary school graduates and 62.8% were 51 years old and over. The ratio of beekeepers with 0-50 beehives is around 42.6%, and 74.5% of beekeepers are migratory beekeeping. Most common disease and harmful is varroa and as the first choice, chemical control method is used in 47.9%. The most used active ingredient in the chemical control is amitraz while the most used in organic control is formic and oxalic. Conclusion: It is concluded that varroa is the most important problem of beekeepers in bee diseases and pests. Beekeepers reported that the drug residue problem in bee products can be solved 43.5% by organic drugs, 29.0% by training and 17.7% by correct use of drugs.
