Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to make a bibliometric analysis of published studies on the use of digital history in education on the Web of Science database. The research was carried out in a visual scan model. A txt file is created by making certain limitations in the Web of Science database. The analysis was made using the bibliometrix package in the R-Studio, the statistical program. The results of the analysis found that the first publication on the subject was made in 2005, with the author Robin, B., and the author with the most publications, Gachago D., with 7 studies. The first three publications on the subject were “Digital Education Review”, “Educational Media International” and “Art and Humanities in Higher Education”. Current words on the subject have been achieved to the result that knowledge, multi-modality, tools, teachers, literature, English, learning-motivation, education, students, technology, multi-literature, project, school, experiences, effects, skills and children are focused on. The most commonly used word is “technology”. Then the conclusion was achieved that words such as education and student, school, English, teacher, language, class was used in studies. It is believed that the research will be a guide for researchers who plan to do similar studies in all aspects.
