CERRAHİ VE DAHİLİ KLİNİKLERDE ÇALIŞAN HEMŞİRELERİN STEROİD TEDAVİSİNE İLİŞKİN BİLGİ DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Amaç: Bu çalışma, cerrahi ve dahili kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerin steroid tedavisine ilişkin bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırma, Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Ahmet Necdet Sezer Araştırma ve Uygulama Hastanesi Cerrahi ve Dahili Klinikleri’ nde çalışan 326 hemşireden araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden ve araştırmanın yapıldığı tarihlerde izinli yada raporlu olmayan ve toplam 261 hemşireyle 7 Şubat – 6 Mart 2019 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Genel Bilgi”, “Komplikasyonlar” ve “Hemşirelik Uygulamaları” bölümlerini içeren toplamda 3 bölüm ve 54 maddeden oluşan  “Steroid Tedavisi Hemşire Bilgi Anketi” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Bulgular ve Sonuç: Araştırma bulguları incelendiğinde, hemşirelerin %63.6’sının cerrahi kliniklerde, %36.4’ünün dahili kliniklerde çalıştığı, %20.7’sinin mezuniyet sonrası steroid ilaçlara ilişkin eğitim aldığı saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin anketin tedaviye ilişkin genel bilgi bölümünden ortalama 12.52±4.7, steroid tedavisinin komplikasyonlarına yönelik bilgi bölümünden ortalama 8.13±3.1, steroid tedavisinde hemşirelik uygulamalarına yönelik bilgi bölümünde ise ortalama 14.34±4.4 puan aldığı ve hemşirelerin anketin bütün bölümlerinden ortalamanın üzerinde puan aldığı belirlenmiştir. Anketin tüm bölümlerinden dahili kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerin, cerrahi kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerden daha fazla puan aldığı, lisans ve yüksek lisans mezunu olan hemşirelerin bilgi puanlarının, lise ve önlisans mezunu hemşirelerin bilgi puanlarından daha yüksek olduğu, hemşirelerin meslekte çalışma süresi ve klinik deneyim süresi arttıkça bilgi puanlarının da arttığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda hemşirelerin bilgi puanlarının ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu ancak hasta eğitimine gerekli önemin verilmediği saptanmıştır.

Title:Determination of the level of information on steroid therapy for nurses working in surgical and internal clinics Summary:Objective: This study was carried out to determine the level of information on steroid therapy for nurses working in surgical and internal clinics. Instruments and Methods: This research of the identificative type was conducted between February 7 and March 6, 2019 with a total of 261 nurses who accepted to participate in the research from 326 nurses working in the Surgery and Internal Clinics of the Afyon Kocatepe University Ahmet Necdet Sezer Research and Application Hospital and were licensed or not at the date of the research. The research data was collected using the "Steroid Treatment Nursing Information Survey" consisting of a total of 3 sections and 54 articles, including "Personal Information Form" and "General Information", "Complications" and "Nursing Applications" sections. Results and Results: Study findings found that 63.6 percent of nurses worked in surgical clinics, 36.4 percent worked in internal clinics, and 20.7 percent received postgraduate training in steroid drugs. The average 12.52±4.7 of the Nurses’ survey’s general information section on treatment, the average 8.13±3.1 of the Steroid Therapy Complications Information section, the average 14.34±4 of the Steroid Therapy Nursing Practices Information section. He received 4 points and the nurses received a score above the average of all parts of the survey. The survey found that nurses working in internal clinics from all sections received more points than nurses working in surgical clinics, that nurses with bachelor and master graduates received more points than nurses with high school and pre-graduate graduates received more points than nurses with high school and pre-graduate graduates received more points than nurses with high school and pre-graduate graduates received more points than nurses with high school and pre-graduate graduates received more points. The study found that nurses’ information scores were above the average but the patient’s training was not given the necessary importance.
