Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to study the communication skills and levels of self-confidence of football judges working in different classifications according to various variables. Since the study is aimed at determining the opinions and perceptions of the participants about a topic, it is in the visual scan model. The universe of the study consists of football judges in different classifications in Turkey in the 2018-2019 football season, and the examples of the study are 206 football judges in different classifications in the Aydın province. As a data collection tool in the study, a personal information form consisting of 9 questions, a communication skills assessment scale consisting of 25 questions, and a self-confidence scale consisting of 33 questions were used. The results of the study, SPSS 23. The 0 statistical package program is evaluated, the meaning level is accepted as p<0,05. The study found that older judges were younger than older, long-term judges were short-term judges, top-class judges were lower-class judges, foreign-language judges were higher than foreign-language judges, communication skills and self-confidence levels. In addition, it has been shown that there is a high-level meaningful relationship between football judges’ communication skills and their self-confidence, and that the increased communication skills of football judges, the increased their self-confidence, the increased their self-confidence, the increased their communication skills.
