Günümüz dünyasının tanımlayıcı dinamiklerinden biri olan teknik, felsefi bir anlamda değerlendirildiğinde oldukça zengin bir düşünüş sahası sunar. Batı felsefesi tarihinde teknik fenomeni üzerine sistematik ve kapsamlı bir düşünce geliştiren ilk filozof olan Martin Heidegger’in çalışmaları bu alandaki en temel felsefi referanslardan biri olma niteliğindedir. Dünyamızın içinde olduğu ve etkilerini gün geçtikçe daha yoğun bir biçimde hissettiği ekolojik kriz çağında Heidegger’in tekniğin doğası üzerine olan düşüncesini incelemek vaatkâr bir girişim olarak görünmektedir. Geliştirmiş olduğu Batı metafiziği ve modernite eleştirisiyle Heidegger düşüncesinin, hararetle yürütülmekte olan ekolojizm ve ekoloji politik tartışmaları için vazgeçilmez ve istisnai zenginlikte bir kaynak niteliğinde olduğunu söylemek mümkündür.
Technology, one of the defining dynamics of today’s world, provides a rather rich field of thinking when assessed in a philosophical sense. The works of Martin Heidegger, the first philosopher to develop a systematic and comprehensive thought on the technological phenomenon in the history of Western philosophy, are one of these field-based philosophical references. In the epoch of ecological crisis, where our world is inside and its effects are increasingly intense, heidegger's idea of the nature of technology seems to be a promising attempt to explore. With the criticism of the Western metaphysics and modernity he developed, it is possible to say that Heidegger’s thought is indispensable and is a source of exceptional wealth for ecology and ecology political discussions that are ongoing.
