Abstract:

Sternal yara enfeksiyonları ve özellikle mediastinitler açık kalp cerrahisi sonrası karşılaşılan ölümcül komplikasyonlar arasında yer almakta ve görülme sıklıkları çoğu rapora göre % 0,4 ile %4 arasında değişmektedir. Bunların bir kısmı antibiyoterapi ile tedavi edilebilirken çoğunlukla ek olarak cerrahi uygulamalara ihtiyaç duyulur. Genelde cerrahi olarak o bölgenin rezeksiyonu ile birlikte sternal çelik teller çıkartılır. Biz CABG sonrası gelişen kronik sternum osteomyelitli bir olguda tedavide pektoral major kas flebi uygulanmasını sunuyoruz.
