Bu çalışmada, Konya ili Çumra ilçesinde tarım işletmelerinin risk kaynakları ve risk yönetim stratejileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler, Konya ili Çumra ilçesinde faaliyet gösteren 66 tarım işletmesinden anket yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Risk faktörleri ve risk yönetim stratejilerinin belirlenmesinde 5’li likert ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Risk faktörü olarak 36 ve risk yönetim stratejisi olarak 11 değişken üreticiler tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere faktör analizi uygulanmıştır. Faktör analizi sonucunda öne çıkan risk kaynakları iklim, işletmelerin kuruluş yeri, hastalık ve zararlılar, sermaye, teknoloji, hayvan sağlığı, piyasa, sosyal ve mali faktörlerdir. Risk yönetim stratejileri ise yeniliklerin benimsenmesi, hastalık ve zararlılarla mücadele, örgütlenme, mali kontrol ve üretim etkinliğinin artırılması olarak belirlenmiştir.
In this study, the sources of risk and the perception level of risk strategies are investigated in the agricultural holdings ofÇumra. The data were used for this study has been acquired from 66 agricultural holdings by the face to face survey method. According to 5-point likert scale method, risk was evaluated with 36 pieces of risk variables and 11 pieces of risk management strategies variables by farmers. Factor analysis was applied to the data were obtained from research. As a result of factor analysis, prominent sources of risk are climatic factors, farm location, social factors, diseases and pests, capital, technology, animal health, market and financial factors. Risk management strategies were determined as the adoption of innovations, the fight against diseases and pests, organization, financial control and increasing the efficiency of production.
