Abstract:

Ranula is a clinical entity that seen in the floor of the mouth as a result of obstruction or rupture of sublingual salivary glands duct. Ranula is seen as fluctuan soft tissue mass with blue color and unilaterally in the floor of the mouth. Several methods of treatment for ranulas have been reported including excision of the ranula, marsupialization, excision of the lesion with sublingual gland and cryosurgery. In this case, we present a sublingual ranula was treated with marsupialization.
