Gelişen teknolojik imkanlarla birlikte din öğretimi sürecinde yararlanılacak materyallerin sayısı da artmıştır. Söz konusu materyallerden birisi de filmlerdir. Filmler dersleri daha eğlenceli ve öğretici hale getirebilir. Öğrencilere zengin öğrenme yaşantısı sunabilir. Bunun için öğretmenlerin bu materyalden etkili bir şekilde yararlanmaları din öğretiminde yaşanan ilgisizlik, isteksizlik, bıkkınlık gibi sorunların azalmasında katkı sağlayabilir. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, Din dersi öğretmenlerinin bir öğretim materyali olarak film/videoları kullanma durumlarını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, var olan durumu betimleyen tarama modelinde bir çalışmadır. Kayseri örnekleminde yapılan bu araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; araştırmaya katılan Din dersi öğretmenlerinin yarısı derslerinde filmlerden yararlanmaktadır. Din dersi öğretmenlerininçok kullandıklarını söyledikleri film türü “kısa filmler/videolar”dır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin filmlerdençok yararlandıkları ders türü “Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi”dir. En az film kullanılan öğretim alanı İmam Hatip Lisesi Meslek dersleri olmuştur. Dolayısıyla, derslerinde film kullanan öğretmenler daha çok ortaokul DKAB öğretmenleridir. Bayan öğretmenler erkeklere nazaran bu materyalden daha çok yararlanmaktadır. Öğretmenler bu materyali daha çok “işlenen konuyu zenginleştirmek, geliştirmek” için kullanmaktadırlar. Söz konusu öğretmenler filmleri daha çok meslektaşlarından ve internet sitelerinden temin etmektedirler. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler din öğretiminde film seçerken,çok seçilen filmin “konuya uygunluğuna” dikkat ettiklerini söylemişlerdir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin film kullanma konusundaçok yaşadıkları sorun, bazı okullardaki internet ve bilgisayar yetersizliğidir.
With the advanced technological possibilities, the number of materials to be used in the religious teaching process has also increased. One of these materials is films. Films can make the lessons more fun and teaching. They can provide students with a rich learning life. For this purpose, teachers' effective use of this material can contribute to the reduction of problems such as lack of interest, unwillingness, tiredness in the teaching of religion. The main purpose of this research is to reveal the conditions in which religious lessons teachers use films/video as a teaching material. Research is a study in a scanning model that depicts the existing situation. According to the results of this study, half of the religious teachers who participated in the study are taking advantage of films in the lessons. The kind of film that teachers say they use is "short films/video". The kind of lesson that the teachers who participated in the study most benefit from the films is "Religious Culture and Ethical Knowledge". The least used film field of teaching was the Imam Hatip High School Professional Classes. Therefore, the teachers who use films in their classes are more than the teachers of the DKAB high school. The teachers use this material more than the men. Teachers use this material more “to enrich, develop the subject processed”. These teachers provide more films from their colleagues and websites. Teachers who participated in the study said that while choosing a film in the religious teaching, they pay attention to the "adaptation to the subject" of the highly selected film. The problem that teachers who participated in the study often experience with the use of films is the lack of internet and computer in some schools.
