In this study, pavlonia, cranberry and ecalyptus trees were modified through the vaccination of poly (ε-kaprolactone) (PCL), a hydrophobic biobosunur polymer, into cell circles. The success of the wood modification process depends on the polymer used for modification to effectively connect to the basic components of the wood. After the poly (ε-kaprolactone) modification, changes in the basic components of the wood were studied by the basic wood analysis methods. For this purpose, the heat water solubility of the wood, the classon lignin, cholosellulose, alpha cellulose and the content of ashes have been determined. Furthermore, the FTIR spectrum was taken before and after the modification of the three wood samples and the changes in the functional groups in the samples were studied. According to the results obtained in PCL modified samples there is an increase in the amount of ashes, hot water solubility and holosellulose, while a decrease in the amount of lignin and α-cellulose has been determined. According to the FTIR spectrum, 1721 cm-1 PCL carbonyl picks are not found in unprocessed wood samples, while this picks are determined in modified wood samples. This indicates chemical modification in the samples. In PCL modified wooden samples, the 1595 cm-1, 1505 cm-1, 1423 cm-1, 1157 cm-1 and 898 cm-1 picks indicate the change in cellulose and polio in samples according to the unprocessed wooden samples.
