Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde yer alan Samsun ili Türkiye’nin iki önemli delta ovasına sahip olmakla birlikte, topraklarının büyük bir kısmı dağlık ve engebelidir. İl merkezinin doğusunda Tekkeköy ilçesinde yoğunlaşan sanayi tesisleri Çarşamba Ovası yönünde verimli tarım alanlarını işgal ederek yayılışlarını sürdürmektedir. Bu çalışmada Samsun ilindeki sanayi tesislerinin tek tek ya da OSB olarak kuruluş yeri için seçtikleri arazilerin jeomorfolojik yapı özellikleri ile arazi kullanım kabiliyet sınıflandırmasına göre hangi tür topraklar üzerinde yer aldıkları araştırılmıştır. Samsun ilinin ve sanayi tesislerinin CBS ortamında yüzey ve yoğunluk analizleri yapılmış, buna göre; Samsun ilindeki mevcut fabrikalar, kuruluş aşamasında olup inşaatı devam edenler ve henüz proje safhasında olan sanayi tesislerinin mekânsal dağılımları belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; Samsun il merkezinde yer alan sanayi tesisleri ve OSB’lerin çoğunlukla birinci sınıf tarım arazileri üzerinde oldukları ve özellikle Çarşamba Ovası’na doğru gelişim gösterdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Alternatif sanayi alanları gösterilen Havza, Kavak ve Bafra OSB’lerin ise tarım dışı alanlar üzerine kuruldukları görülmüştür. Böylece sanayinin il genelinde dengeli bir dağılım göstermesi beklenirken yeni OSB’ler için, daha önce tarımsal sit alanı ilan edilmiş bulunan Çarşamba Ovası’nın gündeme gelmesi ve bu yönde yapılan çalışmalar endişe verici olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
Although the Samsun is located in the Black Sea Region and has two major delta valleys in Turkey, the majority of its land is mountainous and square. The industrial facilities concentrated in the province of Tekkeköy in the east of the province center continue to spread by occupying efficient agricultural areas in the direction of Wednesday's Ovası. In this study, the industrial facilities in the province of Samsun have been investigated on which types of land they are located according to the geomorphological structural characteristics of the land and the land use capacity classification of the land they choose for the establishment place as a single or OSB. Surface and intensity analyses of Samsun province and industrial facilities in the CBS environment have been carried out, according to which; the existing factory in Samsun province is in the establishment stage and the construction is ongoing and the industrial facilities are still in the project stage have been determined. Samsun province, located in the Black Sea Region, has two important delta plains in Turkey, but most of its lands are mountainous and rugged. Industrial facilities are concentrated in Tekkeköy district, east of the urban. These facilities continue their by occupying fertile agricultural areas in the direction of Çarşamba Plain. In this study, the geomorphological characteristics of the lands selected for the location of the industrial facilities have been investigated as one by one or an organized industrial zone in Samsun. In this research, the surface and density analyzes of the Samsun province and industrial plants have been made on Geography Information Systems. According to this, the spatial distribution of industrial facilities has been determined. These are the existing factories in Samsun, those under construction and those at the project stage. According to the result obtained, Industrial facilities and organized industrial zones are mostly on first class agricultural lands in the urban of Samsun. It has been determined that they especially developed towards Çarşamba Plain. Organized industrial zones of Havza, Kavak and Bafra, which are alternative industrial areas, have been built on non-agricultural areas. Thus, it was expected that the industry would show a balanced distribution throughout the province. However for the new OIZs, the agenda of the Çarşamba Plain, which was previously declared an agricultural site area, and the studies carried out in this direction were considered as worrying.
