Abstract:

Bu çalışma, lise kimya öğretmenlerinin derslerinde iyi bir öğrenme ortamı sağlayabilme ve sınavlarını güvenli bir şekilde yaptıklarına inanma derecesini saptamak amacıyla yapıldı. Ayrıca bu durumlara öğretmenlerin mezun olduğu fakülte türünün, meslekteki hizmet yılının ve cinsiyetinin etkileri araştırıldı. Araştırma 2002-2003 öğretim yılı ikinci ve 2003-2004 öğretim yılı birinci yarıyıllarında, Ankara ve Samsun illerinde bulunan 15 lisede görev yapan 43 kimya öğretmeni üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan ve kapsam geçerliliği uzman danışman tarafından onaylanan anket formları ile elde edildi. Anket evet/hayır türünde ve açık uçlu olmak üzere 8 sorudan oluşturuldu. There was 8 open ended and yes/no questions containing a survey prepared and approved by the experts. The data were collected by carrying out the survey with mutual dialogues with some teachers and some of the teachers were given the forms and they were asked to fill them in and hand them back within a deadline. The resulting data revealed that most of the teachers have good control over the class discipline. It was observed that female teachers were much more successful in establishing classroom discipline than males and this was not to do with the type of the school graduated.
