Çanakkale - Ayvacık Namazlık Halıları

İslam inancına göre, namaz vakti geldiğinde, insanın bulunduğu yer ibadet yeri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu Türklerin konar-göçer kültürüne çok uygun bir inanç şartıydı. İslam inancını kabul eden Türkler, ibadetlerini yapabilmek için taşınabilir olarak halı ya da kilimden namazlık/namazlağ/namazlağa/seccade adı verilen dokumalar yapmışlardır. Ayrıca namazlıkların üzerindeki motifler incelenirse; bu motiflerin Türklerin inanç, inanış, kültür, gelenek ve hayatlarından izler taşıdığı görülür. Bunlar, yakın çevre ya da geçmiş kültürlerden gelen sembolik ve felsefi anlamlar taşımaktadır. Halı sularıyla başlayan bu örnekler, somut ve soyut değerler ile geometrik temelli motifler kullanılarak zenginleştirilmiştir. Namazlık yüzeyleri cennet bahçesi görünümünde çeşitli motifler ile süslenmiştir. Ayvacık, Kuzeybatı Anadolu’da Biga Yarımadasındaki Kazdağları Silsilesi üzerindeki Çanakkale ilinin 71 km güneyinde kalan bir ilçesidir. Yörede Kazdağları üzerinde yer alan Avunya Ovası ile komşu olması, Ayvacık ilçesine doğal bir geçiş yeri olma özelliğini kazandırmıştır. Bu yol, Antik Çağdan beri korunmaktadır. Tarihsel süreç içerisinde çeşitli kültür, inanç ve kökenden grupların yerleşerek kaynaştığı bir bölgedir. Yörede halı dokuyanlar bağlı oldukları aşiret, boy ve oymaklarına ait motif, sembol ve imlerini Ayvacık Namazlıklarına aktarmıştır. Bu halıların bazı motifleri incelendiğinde kendilerine özgü olduğu görülür. Bu çalışmada; Ayvacık Halı Yöresinde dokunan namazlıklar hakkında bilgileri bir araya getirmek, namazlığın Türk-İslam açısından önemi, tespit edilen halıların motif, desen kompozisyonu, renk ve uygulama özellikleri açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma konusu halılar hakkında bilgi verilerek ve tarihsel süreç içinde sosyo-kültürel ve sanatsal nitelikleri açıklanacaktır.

According to Islam, when the time of prayer comes, the place where man is considered as the place of worship. This was a very good condition for the Turkish culture of conar-göçer. Those who accept the Islamic faith have made the documents called prayer / prayer / prayer / seccade from the carpet or kilim as portable to be able to perform their worship. Also, if the motives on prayer are studied, it is seen that these motives carry traces from the beliefs, beliefs, cultures, traditions and lives of the Turks. These carry symbolic and philosophical meanings from close environments or past cultures. These examples, starting with roof waters, are enriched using concrete and abstract values and geometrically-based motifs. The prayer surfaces are decorated with various motives in the appearance of the paradise garden. Ayvacık is a district located 71 km south of the Çanakkale province on the Kazdağları Silsilesi in the Biga Peninsula in northwestern Anadolu. Being a neighbor with the Avunya Ovası located on the Kazdağs in the area has given the characteristic of being a natural passage place to the Ayvacık district. This path has been preserved since ancient times. In the historical process, it is a region where groups of different cultures, beliefs and origins are settled. The people who touched the roof in the town had their motives, symbols, and immas to the Ayvacık Prayer, which they had attached to their arithmetic, size, and worship. When some of these roofs are studied, it appears to be unique to them. In this study, it is intended to gather information about the prayer touched in the Ayvacık Tape Area, to study the importance of prayer in the Turkish-Islam perspective, the motivation, the composition of the patterns, the color and the application characteristics of the identified tapes. The study will be provided with information on the subject of the roofs and will explain the socio-cultural and artistic qualities in the historic process.

According to Islamic belief, when it is time for prayer, the place where human is located is accepted as a place of worship. This was a very necessary belief in the Turkish nomadic culture. For the purpose of worshiping the Turks, they weaved the weavings called namazlık / namazlağ / namazlağa / seccade. Also, if the motifs on the prayer rug are examined; it is seen that these motifs carry the traces of beliefs, beliefs, culture, traditions and lives of Turks. They have symbolic and philosophical meanings from the inner circle or past cultures. These examples starting with carpet borders were enriched by using geometric based motifs with concrete and abstract values. Prayer rug surfaces are decorated with various motifs in the appearance of paradise garden. The neighboring area of Avunya Plain on the Kazdağları region has been the natural transition area to the Ayvacık district. This nature road has been protected since Antiquity. Within the historical process, it is a region where groups of various cultures, beliefs and originated are settled and integrated. In the region, carpet weavers transferred the hordes, tribes and clans, motifs, symbols and signs to the Ayvacık Prayer Rugs. When some motifs of these carpets are examined, it is seen that they are unique to them. In this study; the aim of this study is to bring together the information about the prayers of the Ayvacık Carpet District, the importance of prayer in terms of Turkish-Islam, the motifs, patterns, colors and application features of the carpets determined. Information about the carpets subject to the study will be given and socio-cultural and artistic qualities will be explained in the historical process.
