Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the teachers’ organizational stress and the levels of foreignization to work. The research is designed with a relative scanning model from quantum research methods. The research participants consist of 408 teachers identified by layer sampling method in public primary and secondary schools in Mardin in the 2022-2023 academic year. As a data collection tool in the review, the "organizational stress scale" adapted to Yıldırım, Taşmektepligil and Wein's (2011) Turkish, the "work outsourcing scale" developed by Apple (2003) and the participant's demographic information form was used. According to the information found, the SPSS program calculated the percentage, frequency, arithmetic average and standard deviation values. To determine whether there is meaningful difference between two categories variables, the Independent Groups t-Test, Anova, was done to compare more than two categories variables. The Post-Hoc (Tukey-LSD) test was conducted to identify the groups with meaningful differences, the pearson correlation analysis and the Regression analysis to identify the relationship between the variables. According to the data obtained from the review, the organizational stress levels of teachers are high in their low dimensions in terms of workload, skills, decision making and social support. Organizational stress perception levels are high. Organizational stress has been found to show no significant changes according to the variables of gender, branch, teaching service time. According to the review, teachers' foreignization to work is low in the low dimensions of weakness, insignificance and isolation, high in the low dimensions of school foreignization. The number of teachers out of work is low. It has been found that the level of foreignization to work has not shown any significant changes according to gender, branch, teaching service time. A meaningful correlation has been established in a negative direction between organizational stress and employment alienation. According to the findings, 24% of teachers’ outsourcing to work is explained by the sizes of organizational stress.
