Primary hepatic lymphoma is a very rare entity and accounts for less than 1% of all extranodal lymphomas. A higher incidence is seen in patients that are immunocompromised, such as transplant recipients and patients with increased exposure to viruses such as Epstein- Barr virus, human immunodeficency (HIV), or hepatitis viruses. The majority are large B-cell lymphomas. The differential diagnosis for primary hepatic lymphoma is quite broad, including other primary and secondary hepatic malignancies, as well as infectious and inflammatory processes. In this study, a case of man with solitary primary hepatic lymphoma is presented magnetic resonance imaging findings.
