Sınıf yönetimi, sınıfında etkili ve aktif öğrenmenin gerçekleşmesini isteyen her öğretmenin önemsemesi gereken bir durumdur. İlkokul çağındaki çocukların dikkat sürelerinin henüz kısa olmasından dolayı sınıf öğretmenleri sınıf yönetimi konusunda daha çok ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu anlamda sınıf öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimi konusunda karşılaştıkları sorunları tespit etmek ve çözüm önerilerini belirlemek araştırmayı önemli kılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetiminde karşılaştıkları sorunları belirlemek ve bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri sunmaktır. Araştırmada yöntem olarak nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji (olgubilim) kullanılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimiyle ilgili karşılaşmış oldukları sorunları, kendi söylemleriyle belirlenmesi istendiği için olgubilim deseni seçilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kahramanmaraş’ın Elbistan ilçesinde görev yapan 5’i kadın 5’i erkek 10 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme yönteminden amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ve kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Veriler öğretmenlerle yürütülen yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlarla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre sınıf öğretmenlerinin lisans düzeyinde aldıkları sınıf yönetimi dersinin görevde olan öğretmenler üzerinde etkisinin olmadığı, sınıftaki öğrenci çeşitliliğinin sınıf yönetimini olumsuz yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Bunun yanında öğretmenlerin sınıfta karşılaştıkları problemlerin sınıf yönetimleri üzerinde etkili olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, meslekteki öğretmenlerin sınıf yönetimi konusunda lisans düzeyinde aldıkları dersten çok, tecrübe ile sınıf yönetimi bilgisini oluşturdukları belirlenmiştir.
Class management is a situation that every teacher who wants to realize effective and active learning in his classroom should take care of. Because the attention periods of children in primary school age are still short, classmates are more in front of the class management. In this sense, it makes research important to identify the problems that class teachers encounter in class management and to identify solutions proposals. The aim of this study is to identify the problems that classmates face in class management and to present solutions to these problems. The research method is used in phenomenology (legubilim) from the quality research patterns. The problem that the class teachers face in relation to class management is asked to be determined by their own speeches. The examples of the study 2019-2020 educational year Kahramanmaraş's Elbistan district employs 5 women 5 men 10 class teachers. The research has used a method of sampling aimed at the non-selective sampling method and easy-to-access sampling. The data was collected through semi-configured interviews with teachers. The data obtained was analyzed through the content analysis method. Research findings show that class teachers have not had any influence on the teachers in charge of the class management course they obtained at the bachelor level, and that the student diversity in the class has a negative impact on the class management. In addition, the problems that teachers encounter in the classroom have been observed to have an impact on the class management. According to the research, teachers in the profession have found that more than the course they obtain at the bachelor’s level in class management, they have created class management knowledge with experience.
