Abstract:

In this study, we modeled an international crisis game theory that continues with mutual lives and property losses experienced between any two countries. First, we have identified the problem we will study in detail by studying some real crises in the past. Later, we modeled this problem that we described in detail on the basis of the prisoner binary, which is one of the most well-known games of the game theory. First, we found the pure Nash balance point of this game we modeled. In addition, we have made the game a repeated game to explore what players, i.e. countries, should do in the event of a recurring crisis. Then we expressed our game in the form of a game tree to see the strategies and results in this game clearly. Then, we created the return matrix of the new game for this new state formed. Finally, we found the pure Nash balance points of the game that became a repeated game. Also, using a subgame of the second game, we resolved our game from a different angle. So we successfully modeled and presented the results using a international crisis prisoner binary.
