Abstract:

Art has become the most remarkable element in the transmission of feelings, thoughts or experiences to others and has evolved over time with the use of various methods and techniques and has gained profound meaning in human life. The art understanding and production has gained impulse with the various influences of the slowly formed culture and rapidly evolving technology, along with the conditions of life that changed from the first people to the present day. Products produced for various reasons in the primary life period have created profound effects in human life, recording development over time. In these periods, many artistic elements concerning the culture of society have been included in all products which are not classified according to the purpose of use. Formally, the study observed solitude found the traces of the rich dream world of primitive peoples. The studies were not aimed to be realistic, they were often exaggerated in measurements, and they were emphasized by changes in color or proportion in parts that seem important. The diversity in the line and geometric structures they used to discover thanks to the capabilities of primary people has led to the development of aesthetic perceptions and thus supported today’s artists towards a better understanding of the form. African Primitivism first appeared in the art community as a result of Paul Gauguin’s research and was made a culture recognized by the Western peoples thanks to the artwork that the artists of the time produced with sensitivity to racism. The primitive art appeared as a reflection of the cultures of African peoples, but the existence of Western artists affected by this culture has been demonstrated through the steps they took towards the protection of the culture in the art history. The form of expression of primitive art beyond the usual in the line, color and shape has not escaped the attention of Picasso, one of the intellectual artists of the time. The artist, who has researched many social and cultural issues, has also supported the work done to preserve the culture that the African peoples have made their exploitation by the method of colonization of the Western states. Pablo Picasso, who is constantly in his art life, has been influenced by African culture and has prepared the ground for his work in advanced times by interpreting his own artistic understanding.
