The survey form prepared in order to determine the levels of information on the nutrition of the children of the mothers and the possibilities of nutrition of the family was applied to 200 mothers with a child of 0-36 months in the residence, and the size and weight of the children were also measured. Obtained cldi-icn data is scattered with the computer. Research findings show that the knowledge levels of mothers about the nutrition of children were significantly high in the village, which is the health house, and in primary school graduates (p<0.05). There was no significant relationship between the number of living and dead children, the family type, the number of people in the family, the age of the woman and the family's nutrition and the knowledge about nutrition. The physical development of 73.5% of children is normal according to the Turkish standards, regulated by age. 5 is both weight and size, 17.0 percent size and 2 percent malnutrition in terms of weight. The number of living children is significantly low in those with less than 3, in those with no dead children, in children under 6 months, and in the villages with no health care facilities (p<0.001). However, it has been found that the family’s nutritional capabilities and the mother’s knowledge of the child’s nutrition do not significantly affect the child’s physical development. Based on these, the lack of interest, lack of attention, due to the high number of living children, and the lack of sufficient motivation by the healthcare staff could have more impact on the development of the child.
