So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Hızla artan nüfusla birlikte gelişen kentleşme, oyun alanlarının daralmasına ve yeni neslin kapalı alanlarda yapılan aktivitelere yönelmesine sebep olmaktadır. Günümüzde kapalı alan aktiviteleri düşünüldüğünde akla ilk gelen şey dijital oyun olmaktadır. Dijital oyunlar, yeni nesil için boş zaman aktivitesi olarak önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu durumlar göz önünde bulundurularak çalışmada, lise düzeyindeki bireylerin dijital oyun oynama motivasyonunun incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya, 9., 10., 11. ve 12. sınıf olmak üzere 105 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmaktadır. Bireylerden toplanan veriler doğrultusunda dijital oyun oynama motivasyonu ile cinsiyet ve fiziksel etkinliklere katılım durumu arasında anlamlı  farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda yapılan araştırmanın, genç yaştaki  bireylerin kapalı alanlarda oynadıkları dijital oyunlar fiziksel etkinlik açısından da değerlendirilerek, bireylerin hem bedensel hem de zihinsel yönde gelişimlerine katkıda bulunan çeşitli dijital oyunların geliştirilmesinde yol gösterici olması düşünülmektedir.

Abstract:

With the rapidly growing population, urbanization leads to the narrowing of the playgrounds and the direction of the new generation to activities in closed areas. Nowadays, when considering closed spaces activities, the first thing that comes to mind is digital games. Digital games hold an important place as a free time activity for the next generation. Considering these circumstances, the study aims to study the motivation of individuals at high school level to play digital games. 105 students, including 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes, participated in the study. In the research is used a visual scan model. According to the data collected from individuals, a significant difference has been found between the motivation of digital gaming and the status of participation in gender and physical activities. In this context, the research is believed to be a guide in the development of a variety of digital games that contribute to the development of individuals in both physical and mental aspects by evaluating the digital games that young people play in the closed spaces as well as from the point of view of physical activity.
