TRT Yayıncılık Tarihi Müzesi’nin Görsel İletişim Tasarımı Açısından İncelenmesi

Günümüzde müzelerin koleksiyon ve bilgi sunmasının yanında, izleyicilerle aktif olarak ilgilenmesi ve hedeflerine ulaşmak için farklı yöntemler geliştirmesi beklenmektedir. Müzecilikte ziyaretçilerin beklenti ve alışkanlıkları dikkate alındığında son yıllarda sanal ortam uygulamalarında bir artış görülmektedir. Bu değişim sonucunda müzelerin, kimlik, işlev ve konumlandırmasını tekrar tasarlaması gerekmektedir. “Yeni müzecilik” anlayışı, kültür, iletişim ve eğitim arasındaki ilişkiyi farklı bir şekilde ele almaktadır. Çağdaş müze, ziyaretçi bekleyen değil, modern iletişim yöntemleri ile müzeyi insanların ayağına götüren, sergileme, tanıtım, eğitim gibi işlevlerini gerçekleştirmek için ziyaretçisinin dikkatini çekecek stratejiler geliştiren bir anlayışa sahiptir. Çağdaş müzecilik anlayışına göre “iletişim”, müzeler için tamamlayıcı bir alt yapı unsurudur. Çağdaş müzecilikte, müzeler sahip oldukları koleksiyonları, özel sergileri ve tanıtımlarını modern iletişim araçlarıyla izleyicisine sunmaktadır. TRT Yayıncılık Tarihi Müzesi; hem yayıncılıkta teknolojinin zaman içerisindeki değişim ve gelişiminin yansıtılması hem de etkileşimli bir iletişim müze olması açısından örnek oluşturacak niteliktedir. Bu araştırma, var olan durumu belirlemeye yönelik olduğundan “betimsel tarama” modelindedir. Bu araştırmada; dijital teknolojilerin yarattığı değişim ile ortaya çıkan yeni müzecilik anlayışı ile TRT Yayıncılık Tarihi Müzesi, görsel iletişim tasarımı uygulamaları açısından ele alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, TRT Müzesi “rehber” eşliğinde ziyaret edilmiş, ayrıca kavramsal çerçevede elde edilen değerlendirme kriterleri kapsamında değerlendirilerek veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; TRT Müzesi iletişim tasarımının yeniden planlanması gerektiği görülmüş ve öneriler sunulmuştur. Çağdaş müzecilik anlayışı ile TRT Müzesi’nin değerlendirildiği bu araştırmanın özgünlüğüyle literatüre katkı sağlayacağı ve müzelere iletişim noktasında yol göstereceği düşünülmektedir.

Today, in addition to the museum’s collection and information, it is expected to be actively interested in the audience and develop different methods to their goals. In music, taking into account the expectations and habits of visitors, there has been an increase in virtual environment applications in recent years. As a result of this change, the museums need to re-design their identity, function and location. The concept of "new museum" addresses the relationship between culture, communication and education in a different way. The contemporary museum has an understanding of the visitors not waiting, but of the modern methods of communication that take the museum to the foot of people, developing strategies that will attract the attention of the visitors to perform their functions such as exhibition, promotion, education. According to the concept of contemporary museum, "communication" is a complementary sub-structure element for museums. In contemporary museums, the museums offer their collections, special exhibitions and promotions to the audience with modern means of communication. The TRT Publishing History Museum will be an example in terms of both reflecting the change and development of technology in publishing over time and being an interactive communication museum. This research is in the "betimical scan" model because it is aimed at determining the existing situation. In this study; the new concept of museum that emerged with the change created by digital technologies, the TRT Publishing History Museum, has been discussed in terms of visual communication design applications. In the framework of the research, the data was obtained by the TRT Museum "rehber" accompanied and evaluated within the framework of the evaluation criteria obtained in the conceptual framework. The study found that the communication design of the TRT Museum was needed to be re-planned and recommendations were made. It is believed that the understanding of contemporary musealism and the originality of this research that the TRT Museum assesses will contribute to literature and lead to the museums in the contact point.

In addition to presenting collections and information, museums are expected to actively engage with the audience and develop different methods to achieve their goals. Considering the expectations and habits of visitors in museums, there has been an increase in virtual environment applications in recent years. As a result of this change, museums need to redesign their identity, function and positioning. “New museology” deals with the relationship between culture, communication and education in a different way. The contemporary museum has a concept that does not necessarily wait for visitors, instead takes the museum itself to visitors with modern communication methods and develops strategies that will attract the attention of its visitors in order to realize its original reason of establishment such as exhibition design, publicity and education. According to the contemporary museology concept, "communication" is a complementary infrastructure element for museums. In contemporary museology, museums present collections, special exhibitions and promotions to their audiences with modern communication tools. TRT Museum of Broadcasting History sets an example both in terms of reflecting the change and development of technology in broadcasting over time and being an interactive museum. This research is conducted in a "descriptive survey" model as it aims to determine the existing situation. In this study, TRT Museum of Broadcasting History, with the new concept of museology that emerged with the change created by digital technologies, is discussed in terms of visual communication design applications. Within the scope of this research, the TRT Museum of Broadcasting History was visited with a "tour guide" and the museum was analyzed within the framework of the evaluation criteria obtained in the conceptual framework data. Finally, conclusion of this research states that the design of the TRT Museum of Broadcasting History should be re-considered, re-planned and re-organized and recommendations are presented. It is considered that this research, in which the TRT Museum of Broadcasting History is evaluated within the context of contemporary museology, will contribute to the literature with its originality and will guide the museums with their communication strategy.
