The purpose of this study is to study the contextual foundations of psychological well-being in the body training courses. The data was collected from a total of 431 high school students from two public schools. The scale package consists of scales that measure perceptible self-sufficiency support, satisfaction of basic psychological needs, internal motivation, subjective determination, concentration, fear of negative assessment and social appearance concern. The results of the Structural Equality Model show that the authenticity support created by the teacher in the classroom explains the three basic psychological needs of the students, supports the inner motivation and that this relationship also explains the fear of negative assessment and social appearance concerns of the students in a negative direction, and the levels of subjective inclination and concentration in a positive direction. In the light of the results, the self-reliance support in body education courses can be considered as a tool that increases the concentration and intolerance of students in adolescence, reduces social appearance anxiety and the fear of negative assessment.
