Amaç: Mesleki örgütler ortak idealleri olan meslek üyelerini temsil eden, mesleki amaçlar doğrultusunda faaliyet gösteren organizasyonlardır. Örgütlenme sürecinde dernekler, amaçlarına ulaşabilmek, mesleki özgürlüklerini kazanmak, günceli yakından izlemek, çözüm odaklı yaklaşımlar benimsemek, sosyal bir güç olmak, mesleki vizyon ve misyonunun devamlılığını sağlamak için oldukça önemlidir. Çalışmamızın amacı var olan ulusal hemşirelik derneklerinin kuruluş amaçları ile planladıkları etkinliklerinin bugüne kadar ne kadarının gerçekleştirildiği konusunda bir değerlendirme yapmaktır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışmanın verileri, ‘‘ulusal dernek, hemşireler derneği’’ anahtar kelimeleri ile araştırmacılar tarafından Şubat- Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Türkiye’de ki ulusal hemşirelik derneklerinin web sayfalarından, derneklerin tarihçeleri, dernek tanıtımı, yayınları, düzenledikleri eğitim-kongre kurs programları, projeleri, tüzükleri, vizyon ve misyon açıklamaları, yönetim kurulu ile ilgili bilgileri, web sayfanın en son güncellenme tarihi, derneğin iletişim adresi, derneğin amaçları incelenmiştir. Bulgular: Türkiye’deki 33 Ulusal Hemşirelik Dernekleri’nin adı, kuruluş tarihi, kuruluş amacı, faaliyetleri ve amaçlarını incelendiğinde, derneklerin %75.76’sının kuruluş amaçlarına uygun faaliyetlerde bulunduğu, %12.12’sinin kuruluş amaçlarına uygun sınırlı faaliyetlerde bulunduğu ve %12.12’sinin kuruluş amaçlarına uygun faaliyette bulunmadığı saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Ülkemizde hemşirelik alanında genel ve özel amaçlı birçok dernek kurulmasına karşın yapılan literatür incelemesinde, ülkemizde hemşirelerin derneklere üye olma düzeylerinin oldukça düşük olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Kurulan mesleki örgütlerin ilgili kitleler üzerinde etki oluşturabilmesi için üyeleri ile arasında dinamik, çok yönlü bir ilişki kurması, irdeleyen, sorgulayan ve savunan bir örgüt yapısının olması gerekmektedir. Başka bir deyişle dernekler, kuruluş hedeflerine yönelik faaliyetlerini sürdürmelidirler.

Aim: Professional organizations are organizations that represent members of the profession with common ideals and operate in line with professional purposes. In the organizing process, associations are very important to achieve their goals, to gain professional freedom, to follow the current closely, to adopt solution-oriented approaches, to be a social power, to ensure the continuity of their professional vision and mission. The aim of our study is to make an evaluation about the activities of the existing national nursing associations, which have been planned with their establishment purposes, to date. Methods: The data of this descriptive study were collected by the researchers between February and March 2018 with the keywords ''national association, nurses association''. In Turkey, the national nursing associations of the web pages, the history of the association, the association presentation, publication, organize their training-congress courses programs, projects, regulations, vision and mission statements, information about the board, last updated on the website, the association's contact address The aims of the association have been examined. Results: 33 National Nursing Associations name in Turkey, founding date, objective, when examining the activities and objectives of associations to be involved in activities in accordance with the reasons why the 75.76's%, which in accordance limited activities for the purposes of the establishment of 12.12% and the 12.12% It has been determined that it does not operate in accordance with its foundation purposes. Conclusion: Although many associations for general and special purposes have been established in our country in the field of nursing, the literature review revealed that the membership level of nurses in our country is quite low. In order for the established professional organizations to have an impact on the relevant masses, they should establish a dynamic, multi-faceted relationship with their members and have an organizational structure that examines, questions and defends. In other words, associations should continue their activities towards their establishment goals.
