Kent yaşamının yoğun iş stresi ve betonlaşmanın artması sebebiyle insanlar doğaya yönelik hobiler edinmeye başlamış bununla birlikte "Kokedama" olarak adlandırılan yeni bir bitki yetiştirme sanatı akımı ortaya çıkmıştır. Kokedama Japonların bonsaileri saksılardan çıkartıp yosun içinde muhafaza etmek için geliştirdikleri mekanda dekoratif bir görüntü sağlamanın yanında alandan tasarruf sağlayarak bitkiler için yaşanabilir insanlar için estetik ve işlevsel mekanlar oluşturulmasını sağlayan bitki yetiştirme sanatıdır. Kokedama peyzaj mimarlığı, iç mimarlık gibi farklı bilim dallarına hitap etmektedir. Bu sebeple, Türkiye`de daha estetik ve yaşanabilir mekanlar yaratmak için Kokedama’nın tanıtılması, öğretilmesi ve uygulanması önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Kokedamayı tanıtmak, tarihi gelişimini anlatmak, bu bitki yetiştirme sanatının önemini açıklamak, kokedama yapımı, bakımı ve peyzaj tasarımında kullanımı hakkında bilgi vermektir.
Due to the intense work stress of the city life and the increased betonization, people have begun to acquire hobbies towards nature, but a new plant cultivation art stream called "Kokedama" has emerged. Kokedama is the plant cultivation art that allows the Japanese to create aesthetic and functional spaces for people living by providing a decorative image in the place they develop to remove the bonsais from the shells and keep them in the yosun. Kokedama landscape architecture addresses different disciplines of science, such as interior architecture. For this reason, it is important to promote, teach and implement Kokedama in Turkey to create more aesthetic and living places. The objective of this study is to promote Cocktail, to explain its historic development, to explain the importance of this plant cultivation art, to provide information about the use of Cocktail in cocktail manufacturing, care and landscape design.

They developed to remove bonzars from potsand keep them in algae. Kokedama addresses different disciplines such as landscape architecture and interior architecture. Hence, it is important teaching, emphasizing and applying Kokedama in Turkey to have more aesthetic an the to create livable spaces. The aim of this study is to introduce Kokedama, to explain its historical development, to explain the importance of the art of growing plants, to give information about the construction, maintenance and use of landscape design.
