In this study, it was aimed to review cases referred to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry outpatient clinic for forensic report. We retrospectively reviewed files of 84 cases which were referred to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry outpatient clinic of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Teaching and Training Hospital for forensic reports between 2011 and 2014. Age, gender, educational status, date of referral, reason for referral, psychiatric diagnoses made and results of forensic reports were reviewed in all patients. In this study, it was found that most common cause of referral was juveniles pushed to crime and psychiatric examination after sexual abuse. Of 22 cases pushed to crime, it was concluded that ability to understand legal implications and consequences of attributed action and to manipulate his/her behaviors was completely developed in 4 (18.2%) cases while ability to understand legal implications and consequences of attributed action was completely developed but ability to manipulate his/her behaviors wasn’t developed enough in 8 (36.3%) cases. It was also concluded that 9 (40.9%) cases were unable to understand legal implications and consequences of attributed action and to manipulate his/her behaviors. Of 17 cases presented for determination whether or not mental health was disrupted, the mental health was reported to be disrupted due to sexual abuse in 11 (64.7%) cases, while it was reported to be not disrupted due to sexual abuse in 6 (35.3%) cases. It is thought that further comprehensive studies are needed to carry out a healthy process of forensic reporting in children pushed to crime. It is also essential to manage victims of sexual abuse in addition to forensic reporting process for prevention of future psychiatric disorders
