Bir farkla ki, ülkelerin gelişme düzeyi ile Turizm sektörünün gelişme düzeyi arasında tam bir paralellik gözlemekteyiz. Bu ülkelerde okullar, üniversiteler ve bazı kurumlar; uzlaştırma ve turizm üzerine kurslar, programlar ve seminerler düzenlemeye aşagı yukan büyük sanayi devrimi ile birlikte başlamışlardır. Turizm sektörünün ülke ekonomisi içersindeki yerini alabilmesi için bu egitim programlan yanında, sektör ile ilgili araştırmalar ve sosyal, kültürel, politik analizlerini yaparak, konuyu kitaplar, yayınlar ve makalelerle tanıtmak ve kabullendirmek gerekir. Bütün bu işlemlerin ifasında ise devlet destegi şarttır. Turizm sektörünün dünyadaki gelişmesine paralel olarak; birçok ülke, mevcut üretici ekonomik sistem yapılarında büyük ölçüde degişiklik yapmaktadır. Geçmişte oldugu gibi mal üreten sektörlere dayalı ekonomiler artık çogunlukta degildir.
