Abstract:

Araştırmanın amacı, üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin bilişim teknolojilerinden yararlanma düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve farklı değişkenlere göre bilişim teknolojilerinden yararlanma düzeylerinin anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ortaya koymaktır. Betimsel bir nitelik taşıyan bu araştırmada, genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kırşehir il merkezinde ve Kaman ilçesinde bulunan iki Bilim ve Sanat Merkezinde kayıtlı 327, ortaokul ve lise öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ve Özmusul 2011 tarafından geliştirilen bilişim teknolojilerinden yararlanma ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin BTYÖ’e ait genel ortalaması 2,93 olarak bulunmuştur. Kız öğrenciler, erkek öğrencilere göre bilişim teknolojilerinden daha fazla yararlanmaktadır. Evinde internet bağlantısı olan, tablet bilgisayarı olan ve e-posta hesabı olan öğrenciler olamayan öğrencilere göre bilişim teknolojilerinden daha fazla yararlanmaktadır.

Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to identify utilization levels of gifted students from information and communication technologies ICT and to determine their utilization levels of ICT in terms of various variables. General screening model was used in this descriptive study. The sample of the study consisted of 327 secondary and high school students who were registered in Science and Art Center SAC for gifted and talented students in Kırşehir and Kaman through the academic year of 2015-2016. Data was gathered by using personal information and “The scale of Utilization from ICT” devoloped by Özmusul 2011 .According to the findings, the mean of gifted and talented students’ utilization levels of ICT was 2,93. Also, girls made use of ICT more than boys. What is more, the students who had tablet computers, e-mail accounts and internet connection at home benefited from ICT more than the ones who didn’t
