Göç olgusu bir yerden başka bir yere çeşitli sebeplere bağlı olarak hareket etmek olarak ifade edildiğinde, olgu hem göç edeni hem de göç edilen coğrafyadaki toplumu etkileyen nitelik kazanır. Kimlik ile göç arasındaki ilişki bireysel kimliğe ilişkin aidiyetlerin göç ile dönüşüp anonimleşmesi sonucu bireyin ve göç alan toplumun kültürel kimliğini çok yönlü olarak dönüştürür. Göç olgusuna bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan bu karşılıklı etkileşim siyasal, sosyal, kültürel nitelikli toplumsal sonuçlar doğurur. Türk toplumu, dünya haritasının yeniden çizildiği süreçte Balkan ve Kafkas göçlerinin sosyal ve kültürel sonuçları ile karşı karşıya kaldığı süreçte kültürel ve entelektüel kimliğin dönüşümleri ile şekillenmiştir. Bu çalışmada Balkan Savaşları’nın sonucu olarak yaşanan göç ile Kafkasya’dan alınan göçün kültürel kimlik açısından sonuçları ele alınacaktır.
When the phenomenon of migration is expressed as moving from one place to another for various reasons, the phenomenon becomes a factor affecting both the immigrant and the society in the migrated geography. The relationship between identity and immigration transforms the cultural identity of the individual and the community receiving immigration as a result of the anonymization of belongingness to individual identity. This interaction, which emerges as a result of the phenomenon of migration, has social, cultural and social consequences. Turkish society has been shaped by the transformations of cultural and intellectual identity in the process of redrawing the world map and facing the social and cultural consequences of the Balkan and Caucasian migrations. In this study, the emigration as a result of the Balkan Wars and the results of migration from the Caucasus in terms of cultural identity will be discussed.
