Abstract:

The most intuitive need of man is food. Food safety is not easy for more than 7 billion people today. The United Nations estimates that by 2050 the world’s population will exceed 9 billion. Therefore, it is a need to manage the variations in the land using many analytical tools to increase the efficiency of agricultural processes and to obtain high efficiency from the unit area. Following international and local market demands using digital technologies can make a significant contribution to GDP by achieving a global competitive production. Although the agriculture sector, production, food security and nutrition, changing climate conditions, environmental disruption, loss of marine biodiversity and price volatility of international agricultural goods markets are facing countless challenges, the spread of modern technologies, the use in agriculture has made agriculture knowledge-focused. Therefore, it is extremely important to spread and support digitalization in the agricultural sector. Therefore, it is very important to provide accurate and relevant information in the right time (user-friendly), in the appropriate format and with the use of the most appropriate communication tool, so that the information transmitted will have an impact on the resource of people's survival. This study aims to evaluate the current situation, problems and possible solutions in the use of digital technology in the agriculture and food sector in terms of R&D.
